Merci

Good Morning all!!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend, here in southern California we are enjoying the much needed rain.  For me its a great day to hide out in my craft room and get my craft on :-) .

Over at Seize The Sketch we have sketch Challenge #14

I used several cartridges on this card: George and Basic Shapes, When I was a Kid, and Summer Celebrations.  All the paper used came from various stacks of DCWV.  I purchased a few bundles some time back when they were having their warehouse sale, all the covers were removed so I have no idea what paper stack it really is, lol... The stamp is from a Hero Arts stamp set.

As always thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Truly Sweet

Hello All!!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  My family and I had a restful Saturday and some football fun on Sunday.  Congrats to the Seahawks :-), our house is a Cowboy house so we weren't cheering for any team in particular, just having fun with family and eating to our hearts were content,, lol.

Now on to the real fun, over at My Creative Time Emma has a sketch challenge going on.  I love sketch challenges you have a foundation, but the sky is the limit on where you can go from there.  This is the sketch and my take on it.  If you get a chance be sure to head on over to My creative Time and check out all the cool things she has to see.

Challenges:
My Creative Time - Sketch
4 Crafty Chicks - Anything goes
Crafting Desert Diva's - Link it up party

JUST CHILLIN'

Happy New Year!!!!

Its so hard to believe it's 2014 already.

Well, to start the year off I created a one page  winter layout.  I hope one day soon to get the perfect picture of my kids really enjoying the snow for the first time.  Living in sunny California my girls have not seen snow fall from the sky, or woke up to the view of freshly fallen show, but the upside is they can play at the beaches year round, lol.   (tons of beach pics , lol)

Well lets get to the layout.

Trick or Treat

Hello All!!

I've been preparing for my girls Halloween parties at school.  This will be the first year I'm not running up to the school at lunch dropping off all the goodies (lol).  All things will be ready to go with plenty of time to spare.  Here are the treat bags I made for their teachers along with a post-it-note holder.

I will be entering the following challenges:
2 Creative Chicks
Cut It Up
Decorate to Celebrate
Little Scrap Pieces
Cas-ual Fridays

The bags were cut using Plantin Schoolbook and the characters are cut from Paper Doll Dress up, and Stretch your Imagination.

As always Thanks for stopping by,

NOTES

Hello All!!! Well, it's been a VERY LONG TIME since I last logged on to my blog. It is so nice to be back in the craft room so let’s get to it. :-).
I was blog hopping, taking in all the great inspiration out there in blog land and I came across Cut It Up,  I thought, what better way to get back into the grove of things then to take on a challenge.  This weeks challenge was,  Back to School Altered Notebook - Challenge #26, and here’s my
 altered notebook.

A regular composition book from the office supply store.

Notes, was cut from Printing Press at 0.75 x 2.5
The butterflies were cut from Gypsy Wanderings at 2 x 1.70
The paper was from DCWV grade school stack
and a little bling from Michael's

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day. Angela
